Akaishi Stream

Akaishi River is 44.6km long. Its origin is Shirakami mountainous district. The clean stream surrounded by beech forest brings up various creatures. This stream is the spot of fishing of char and a kind of trout. There is many beautiful places, like ‘Ginrannonagare' (silver stream), ‘Gunjougabuchi' (The deep water of the navy blue), and so on.
