‘ Squid curtain' is the squids curtains which are blown by breeze from Japan Sea .

Beside route 101 in Ajigasawa town, we can see the sight that many squids are drying on ropes as look like curtain. Many stores that burns dried squids are along route 101. Thus this road is called ‘ Burned Squid Street '. Many travelers visit these stores.
