Juuniko ( this name means ‘Twelve lakes')

‘ Juuniko' is generic name of 33 lakes . These are made by landslip and sinking according to big earthquake in 280 years ago.

This name (means 12 lakes) means that 33 lakes make us feel look like 12 lakes by watch from 940m height Kuzureyama Mountain .

Each lakes have each different character.

Especially, ‘Aoike' (It means ‘blue pond') is mysteriously and it have fantastic blue colored water in which blue ink was dissolved. This pond has extremely clear water, and white withered trees on the base of pond can be seen clearly. And the silent pond reflects beech trees like a half mirror.

Therefore, you can see white withered trees lying under the blue water and reflection of upper beech trees simultaneously. It's just like a holography.
