Tachineputa hall

 

In this hall, 22m high 3 huge lantern floats 'Tachineputa' are exhibited. These were used in the festival 'Goshogawara Tachineputa'(from annual August 4 to Augast 8). Tachineputa hall is the biggest structure in Goshogawara city where more than 60,000 people live in .

 

In the hall, 3 Tachineputas are surrounded by spiral slope. First, you rise to the most high place of spiral slope by elevator, and walk down spirally with seeing Tachineputa from up or from beside.

 

You can also experience making a Nebuta Lantern Float at this facility.

 

First floor is store of products of the region. Highest floor is the panorama restaurant where you can eat local food and specialties.
