Tsugaru city Nebuta festival

The magnificent festival ‘Nebuta' is popular among Aomori prefecture. Almost towns hold Nebuta festival in annual August.

But Tsugaru city holds Nebuta festival in late July. It is the earliest Nebuta festival in the prefecture. More than ten of ‘Kizukuri Nebuta' which is made by citizen move on the streets with ethnic drum and flute.
